Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour, packed
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs until pale. Add melted butter, vanilla, and mix. Add sugar and whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix. Add chopped chocolate and gently fold into batter.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until slightly set in the middle and edges crisp.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing. Serve with whipping cream and berries if desired.

Notes

  • For fudgy texture, slightly underbake the brownies.
  • Use room-temperature eggs for best results.
