These baked cottage cheese fries are a delightful and guilt-free snack that kids love. They’re crunchy, cheesy, and perfect for dipping into your favorite sauce.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or crushed beef rinds for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Pinch of salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, grated cheese, egg, almond flour (or crushed beef rinds), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture into a thin layer on the prepared baking sheet, smoothing it out evenly.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into fries.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
  • Substitute almond flour with crushed pork rinds for a keto-friendly option.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days (reheat in the oven for best texture).
