  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 3 Large Carrots, Chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 Large Ripe Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth or Beef Broth
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper, to taste
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • 1 Large Head Green Cabbage, Chopped (about 68 cups)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add onion, carrots, and garlic. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.
  2. Push vegetables to one side and add ground beef. Brown for 3 minutes on each side, then break into smaller pieces and mix with vegetables.
  3. Add tomatoes, broth, Italian seasoning, black pepper, sea salt, and chopped cabbage. Stir well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
