Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these Cottage Cheese Mozzarella Bites are a protein-packed snack. Perfect for dipping in marinara sauce or enjoying on their own.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or oat flour for a softer bite)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Pinch of salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, almond flour, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly firm.
  5. Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce or plain.

Notes

  • For a softer texture, use oat flour instead of almond flour.
  • Adjust garlic powder to taste.
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
