- 1 ½ lbs. boneless sirloin or ribeye steak
- 1 onion diced
- 1 pack Brioche or King’s Hawaiian slider buns
- 12 slices cheese of choice
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Trim any excess fat from the steak. Rub oil over both sides and season with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon, and seasonings. Stir in diced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set sauce aside.
- Cook steaks to your liking. Baste with sauce and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Separate slider buns and place them on the sheet.
- Spread cowboy butter sauce on bottom buns and add a layer of cheese.
- Distribute steak slices evenly on each slider bun. Add more cheese on top.
- Spread sauce on top buns and place them on the sliders. Baste tops with remaining sauce.
- Broil in the oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve and enjoy!
