- 1 lb Italian sausage meat, casings removed
- 48 oz marinara sauce
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Dump the Italian sausage meat into a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Crumble the sausage well as it cooks.
- Pour half of the marinara sauce and ½ cup of water into the bottom of your Crock Pot.
- Take half of the uncooked spaghetti noodles and break them in half.
- Place the broken noodles in the Crock Pot, spreading them out evenly.
- Spoon the cooked sausage over the noodles.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Stir well.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the sausage.
- Spread the mixture evenly.
- Break remaining spaghetti noodles in half and layer them.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce and water over the noodles.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5 hours.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top and cook for another 30 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for better melt.
- Break noodles to fit the Crock Pot.
- Adjust Italian seasoning to taste.
