This easy peach cobbler comes together with just a few pantry staples and canned peaches. The buttery topping and sweet peach filling bake up golden and bubbly—perfect for a cozy dessert night.

Ingredients

1 cup self-rising flour

3/4 cup granulated sugar (plus 2 tbsp for topping)

1/2 cup butter, divided and melted separately

1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, undrained

Optional: dash of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup melted butter.

3. Sprinkle one-third of mixture into 9×9 baking dish.

4. Pour peaches with juice into dish over flour base.

5. Sprinkle remaining flour mixture on top.

6. Sprinkle 2 tbsp sugar over the top.

7. Drizzle remaining 1/4 cup melted butter over topping.

8. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.

9. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add cinnamon for a spiced twist.

For a drier cobbler, use less peach syrup.

Double the recipe for a 9×13 dish.
