Ingredients

- 4 cups (1 12-ounce bag) fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Zest of 1 orange
- Juice of 1/2 orange
- A pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a pot over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer until the cranberries burst (about 10 minutes).
- Continue cooking until the sauce reaches your desired thickness.
- Remove from heat and taste. Adjust sweetness with more honey if needed.
- Remove the rosemary sprigs and cinnamon stick.
- Let the sauce cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to a week.
- Serve chilled, reheated, or at room temperature.
Notes
- The sauce thickens as it cools.
- Adjust honey to taste if too tart.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week.
