  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned (5–7 minutes).
  2. Drain excess fat, then add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli if using, and cook until tender (3–4 minutes).
  5. Prepare rice separately if not already cooked.
  6. Serve beef mixture over rice.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
