Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, preheat it on the stovetop.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Transfer the grilled salmon to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh lemon juice.
- Marinating longer enhances the flavor.
- Check for doneness by inserting a fork—the salmon should flake easily.
