These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are the ultimate party appetizer—loaded with savory shaved steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melty provolone, all baked inside buttery sweet rolls.

Ingredients

▢1 tbsp olive oil

▢1 large onion, thinly sliced

▢1 large green pepper, thinly sliced

▢1/2 lb shaved steak

▢1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

▢1/2 tsp garlic powder

▢Salt and pepper to taste

▢1 12-pack sweet bread buns

▢6 slices provolone cheese

▢1 tbsp melted butter

▢1 tsp dried thyme

▢1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Heat oil in pan; sauté onions and peppers until soft.

3. Add steak, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until steak is no longer pink.

4. Slice buns horizontally, keeping 12-pack intact.

5. Place bottom buns on baking sheet. Spread steak mixture evenly. Top with provolone slices, then bun tops.

6. Mix melted butter, thyme, and Worcestershire. Brush over buns.

7. Bake 17–20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing filling a day in advance.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.

Reheat at 350°F for 10 minutes.
