    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
    • 4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix yellow cake mix, egg, and melted butter until thick. Press evenly into a greased 9×13 pan.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and spices. Gradually mix in powdered sugar.
  4. Pour pumpkin filling over the crust base.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes. Edges should be golden brown, center slightly jiggly.
  6. Let cake cool completely. Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy. Spread over cooled cake.
