Simple and fun strawberry ghosts made with white chocolate and a chocolate face for a spooky treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 8 oz white melting chocolate
  • 1 oz chocolate melting chocolate (for face)
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Rinse strawberries and dry them on a paper towel.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place strawberries nearby. Use a little cooking spray to keep the parchment in place if needed.
  3. Melt white chocolate in a small pot on low heat, stirring constantly until smooth (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
  4. Hold the pot at an angle, dip strawberries in chocolate, and place them on the parchment, dragging slightly to create a ghost tail.
  5. Let chocolate set on the counter until hard.
  6. Melt milk chocolate, pipe eyes and mouths using a Ziploc bag, and let set. Chill in the fridge to speed up setting.

Notes

  • Stir chocolate constantly to prevent burning.
  • Use a rubber spatula for even melting.
  • Work quickly while dipping strawberries to keep chocolate smooth.
