A traditional sugar plums recipe made with dried fruits, nuts, honey, and spice—perfect for the holidays or as a wholesome no-bake treat.

Ingredients

1/2 cup dried figs, chopped

1/2 cup dried dates, chopped

1/2 cup raisins or dried cherries

1/2 cup toasted almonds or walnuts

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves (combined)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

1. Combine chopped fruits and nuts in a food processor and pulse until finely ground.

2. Add honey and spices to the mixture and pulse until it holds together.

3. Scoop out about 1 tbsp of mixture and roll into a ball.

4. Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat.

5. Place on a tray and chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize with dried apricots, cranberries, or orange zest.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze in airtight containers.

Re-roll in sugar before serving if needed for sparkle.
