2 boneless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup cornstarch

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp cayenne pepper

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Sauces (choose one or more):

Spicy Honey BBQ – ¼ cup BBQ sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp hot sauce, 1 tsp vinegar

Garlic Parmesan – 2 tbsp butter, 2 garlic cloves minced, 2 tbsp grated Parmesan, ½ tsp Italian herbs

Buffalo – ¼ cup hot sauce, 2 tbsp butter, ½ tsp garlic powder

Ghost Pepper – 2 tsp ghost pepper sauce, 2 tbsp mayo, juice of ½ lime

Honey Mustard – 1 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tsp mayo, splash lemon juice

Sweet & Sour – 2 tbsp apricot jam, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp ketchup, 1 tsp rice vinegar

Spicy Asian Chili – 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, ½ tsp sesame oil

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into nugget-sized pieces.

2. Marinate in buttermilk with spices for at least 1 hour.

3. Mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings in a bowl.

4. Dredge marinated chicken pieces in flour mix and coat thoroughly.

5. Heat oil to 350°F and fry chicken for 4–5 minutes until golden.

6. Let drain on a wire rack for crispness.

7. In a small bowl, mix your chosen sauce ingredients.

8. Toss hot nuggets in the sauce while still warm.

9. Serve immediately with sides or a homemade Frosty.
