Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cottage cheese (240 g)
- 1 cup almond flour (100 g)
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese and egg. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Pour in the blended mixture and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Shape it into a rectangle about ½ inch (1.25 cm) thick. Using a knife or spatula, lightly score the dough into breadstick shapes, but do not cut all the way through.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes, until the top is lightly golden and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into individual breadsticks. Serve them warm with marinara sauce, garlic butter, or your favorite dip.
Notes
- For crispier edges, you can bake them an additional 3–4 minutes.
- For an extra cheesy crust, sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top before baking.
- Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later enjoyment.
