- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to package instructions, usually just adding water and letting it sit briefly.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the chicken mixture evenly on the bottom.
- Spread the prepared stuffing mix over the chicken layer, then top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Let the casserole cool slightly before serving for easier portioning.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
