- 2 cooked chicken breast halves, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, or to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/4 green apple, shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Add chopped chicken and mayonnaise to a medium bowl. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Add green onions, dried cranberries, shredded apple, pecans, lime juice, dill weed, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
- Serve right away or cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
- Swap pecans for walnuts if that is what you have on hand.
- Adjust mayonnaise to your preferred consistency.
- This salad tastes better the next day after the flavors have had time to blend.
