Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread pitted cherries evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, cream, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the cherries in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set in the center.
