Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (240 g)
- 2–3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (10–15 g)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (30 ml / 42 g)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, and maple syrup or honey.
- Whisk until smooth and creamy with no lumps.
- Add a pinch of sea salt if desired and mix again.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let it set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a richer and creamier texture.
- Adjust the cocoa powder to your taste preference. Use 2 tbsp for a milder flavor and 3 tbsp for a deeper chocolate taste.
- Maple syrup and honey both work well. Use maple syrup to keep it vegan.
- Do not skip the chilling time. It helps the mousse firm up and taste better.
- Top with fresh berries, shaved chocolate, or a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
