Ingredients

- 8 ounces of egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, minced
- ¼ cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- ½ cup of beef broth
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add the beef and toss to coat. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef in a single layer. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and return the beef to the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha.
- Substitute chicken or tofu for beef if preferred.
- Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
